Howard Seymour's three manual and pedal Phoenix organ has been built reusing the console from a defunct pipe organ.  The work was completed in June 2005.

Howard writes:
"I am enormously impressed by Phoenix Organs. The build quality, authenticity of sound, sense of ensemble, range of sample data and  individuality of voicing all mark them out as exceptional.  Unlike many pipeless organs, they are musically satisfying and rewarding to play over time and most importantly, they enable the organist to interpret the music faithfully.   hey are fine instruments which serve both the player and the repertoire with integrity.

My own 3 manual instrument has become a true musical companion - supporting me through my fallible moments and sharing my best efforts. The recent temporary installation in Dore Abbey engenders a sense of awe and wonder in all who hear it."
