The new Phoenix organ for St Paul's Skelmersdale was installed in February 2005.  The Three manual and Pedal organ will has a fine draw-stop console matching the existing woodwork in the Church.  The organ has 16 audio channels, and a reverberation system.  Two of the audio channels are used for the "high pressure" reeds.

Ken Rainford the Organist at St Paul’s writes:
The Phoenix organ at St Paul’s Skelmersdale is a delight to play; the tonal quality is commendable, the console layout and functionality couldn’t be better. I have played other digital organs but none come near to quality and tonal excellence of the Phoenix System.

David Bostock was a pleasure to deal with: from placing the order to completion, communications were excellent and to be given a plan of the layout and choice of colour to match the existing casework was an added bonus.

The Church wardens and the Rev G Greenwood have asked me to thank the staff at Phoenix Organs for all the attention to detail, so important to St Paul’s.
